Spiral Cobalt Blue Cushion Cover
This beautiful blue woven cushion is sure to add colour and warmth to your living space. The cushion cover has been made using a soft, jacquard woven Eri Silk fabric from Assam.
Size : 45x45cm or 18x18 inches
Eri Silk comes from the worm Samia cynthia ricini, found in Northeast of India and some parts of China and Japan. The name Eri is derived from the Assamese word ‘era’, which means castor as the silkworm feeds on castor plants. The wool silk is often referred to as the Ahimsa silk or the fabric of peace as the process does not involve the killing of the silkworm. Moths leave the cocoon as soon as it is ready to be spun.
The Pillow Cover is lined with cotton
lining and quality YKK Zipper has been used. Cotton satin cord piping enhances
the structure, and the contrast red cotton back adds definition to the cushion
cover.
