Ahimsa Red Cushion Cover Set of 2
Rich and Elegant Red Eri Silk Decorative Pillow cover in size 18x18 inches or 45x45 cm, perfect to add colour and texture to your living spaces.
Cushion cover is made using a beautiful hand woven jacquard fabric from Assam, a state in the North East Part of India.
Eri Silk comes from the worm Samia cynthia ricini, found in North East of India and some parts of China and Japan.
The name Eri is derived from the Assamese word ‘era’, which means castor, as the silkworm feeds on castor plants. The wooly silk is often referred to as the Ahimsa silk or the fabric of peace as the traditional process does not involve the killing of the silk worm. Moths leave the cocoon as soon as it is ready to be spun.
The Pillow Cover is lined with cotton lining and quality YKK Zipper has been used. Cotton satin cord piping enhances the structure and the contrast red cotton back adds definition to the cushion cover.
The pillow cover is also available in Grey
