Lemongrass is actively used in Asian cooking and has a very refreshing and relaxing aroma. It has a heavy and lemony aroma which is hence used as a top note in perfumery.
Lemongrass oil is edible, and you can add a drop in your tea or a light broth to relieve stomach pain or diarrhoea. Adding a drop of lemongrass oil in your soup or tea is known to help with stomach pain or diarrhoea.
Lemongrass is closely related to citronella, and it also repels insects such as flies and mosquitoes.
