The ones we carry at Badt and Co. are handmade by Spanish artisans whose craft are generations-old and prided          family tradition.Â
The original espadrille is hand-stitched and made using only natural materials. Its distinctive sole is made from jute, or esparto rope that is first braided, then molded into shape before being stitched to an upper that is typically made of leather, suede or canvas.Â
Flat, platform, half wedge or wedge, good espadrilles are timeless!
